– OUR TEXTILES ARE OFTEN VINTAGE, AND IN SOME INSTANCES FRAGILE. THEY SHOULD NOT BE EXPOSED TO HARSH CHEMICALS OR PROLONGED EXTREME SUNLIGHT. IF THEY REQUIRE CLEANING, GENTLE SPOT CLEANING WITH TEPID WATER AND SOAP SHOULD BE OKAY, BUT WE WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND DRY CLEANING.

– OUR FRAMED ARTWORK SHOULD BE LIGHTLY DUSTED, NO CLEANING PRODUCTS SHOULD BE USED.

– THE SAME GOES FOR OUR OBJETS – THEY ARE MOSTLY MADE OF NATURAL FINISHES SUCH AS WOOD OR SHELL, AND WOULD NOT HOLD UP WELL TO CLEANING PRODUCTS.

THIS MEANS THAT SOMETIMES TINY BITS OF SAND, OCEAN SEDIMENT OR EVEN A TEENY BIT OF HERMIT CRAB MAY HAVE GOT LODGED INSIDE AND THEN DISLODGED IN TRANSIT TO YOU. WE CLEAN ALL OF OUR PIECES THOROUGHLY BEFORE SENDING THEM TO YOU AND THEY LEAVE OUR HANDS LOOKING PERFECT, BUT WE ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THIS MAY OCCASIONALLY HAPPEN. THEY HAVE BEEN CAREFULLY ATTACHED TO THE LINEN MATTING SO THAT THE FORM OF THE NECKLACE AND SHELLS SHOULD REMAIN IN POSITION BUT IN SOME INSTANCES IT WOULD NOT BE AESTHETICALLY APPROPRIATE FOR THEM ALL TO BE INDIVIDUALLY ATTACHED.
